In our portfolio you will find diverse
examples of successful conceptions
and appealing visualizations.
During the conception and visualization, ideas are brought to life. Through precise planning, creative solutions are created. Here are some inspiring examples.
are two important aspects in the field of
Design. Without a clear concept it is hard to create a
meaningful visualization.
But how do you find the
perfect balance between both?
A mature concept is the foundation for a successful
visualization. It helps to understand the goals and needs of the customer and
to implement them in a suitable design. But also the
visualization itself plays an important role. It must be appealing
and understandable, to convey the message of the customer.
In my work as a designer I have often experienced that customers have a
clear idea of their product or service,
but have difficulties to express it in words. This is where the
concept comes in. Through targeted questions and analyses we can
collaborate to develop a concept that reflects the needs of the customer
and provides a clear direction.
However auch the translation of visualisation itself is crucial. Just in the
current time, in which the attention span of the people always
becomes shorter, the design must be fast and easy to understand. A
good design must not only look nice, but also convey a clear
message.
Current events show how important a clear visualisation can be. During the COVID-19 pandemic, infographics and diagrams were
indispensable to make complex relationships understandable.
A
clear visualisation can thus not only transport the customer's message,
but also contribute to making complex information understandable.
In total, conception and visualisation are an important aspect in the
field of design. A mature conception forms the basis for a successful
visualisation, which not only looks nice, but also conveys a clear
message. If you are looking for a designer who helps you to transport
your message, I am at your disposal.
How to find the right concept
for three new offers and how to visualize them? Using a project example, I will show you. The advertising concept is for a bicycle specialty store.
An offer for daily use. For example, for shopping, or other things you want to transport.
The offer is that the child's bike grows with them. As the child gets bigger, it can always ride a bike of the right size.
This offer is intended to appeal to business owners who want to provide an e-bike for their employees.
First, you get familiar with the new offers that are being advertised
to be
should. What target group do the offers have? In this case
are three target groups. Young families, practical and
nature-connected people and company owners who want to lease a service bike for their employees.
Man inquires about the location. In what situation is the company? What kind and how many populations live there. What is the average age? Does the city have a high school or a university? One collects as much information as possible. To do this, one looks to see if competing companies are based in the sales area. If so, what offers do they have and what target groups do they address with them? If one knows that, one can consider how our client could distinguish themselves from the competition.
There exist in the different economic strata, respectively social position different social milieus, whose members are characterized by similar capital equipment and a similar habitus. It is to be expected that these three groups will feel particularly addressed by the new offers from Fahrrad Rund.
1. Adaptive-Pragmatic
2. Performer
3. Socio-ecological
The use of images in advertisements should be specific. In their focus, children, families, or business people with a bicycle or cargo bike should be seen. Additionally, pictures with sales and consulting conversations, or bicycle repairs to suggest good customer service to the customer. This should appeal to families and business people up to regular customers and lead to visits or even invite purchases.
Here it is precisely defined how and where the company logo may be used and used. Everything is predetermined. The house colors, the protection zone and the scaling etc.
The Client does not want any changes to the shape of his
Logo, but the colors may and should be changed. The new
House colors should exactly appeal to those that Bicycle Round wants to reach with its new offers.
I have chosen this green for this, because green stands for nature, hope, renewal and appeals to nature-connected and environmentally conscious customers. Blue, on the other hand, stands for loyalty, reason, coolness. These three properties can be assigned to a businessman/woman.
The colors must never be changed, at most in 20% steps weakened and more transparently presented.
The company will be visually represented with these two colors and customers should immediately establish a connection to Bicycle Round with these colors.
The Typography is also an important part of the Corporate Design. One chooses a font that is easy to read (also on the internet) and has a recognition value. In this example, Fahrrad Rund 2 has font cuts. So texts can be well divided into headings and main texts.
With this A4 Flyer, one can well advertise all three new offers and provide the customer with information about it.
These will be distributed, for example, at trade fairs, events, or information booths. But also in the business itself, they are placed in a clearly visible location, so that the customer can access and inform themselves if interested.
With this mobile Infostand, consisting of 2x flag stands, 3x A2 stands (also called donkeys) and 2x info counters, one can easily conduct an information event, for example, in a pedestrian zone, without much effort. Or you can place it directly in front of the business as an eye-catcher.
If you place such an advertising sign at a location on a heavily trafficked street, you will have a great advertising effect on rush-hour traffic, because they drive past it almost daily and thus the offer is imprinted on a potential customer. The rental prices are different, but not as expensive as you might think.
Posters are also one of the more affordable advertising media.
The more often the potential customer walks past the poster, the more they will remember it. Here, colors also play an important role in recognizing the company Fahrrad Rund. That's some communication media with which Fahrrad Rund can effectively and, above all, target-group-specifically communicate its offers. Of course, there are more communication media, but you would naturally discuss those with the client, because ultimately they have to pay for it. But one can assume that good and targeted advertising always pays off for the client.
The microsite basically belongs to a superior website, but is outsourced to its own domain for content reasons. This creates a relatively small page that exclusively focuses on the three new offers. It is also easy to use, with just a few clicks from the user.
Give Away articles are promotional items that do not cost much and are given to existing or future customers. The customer is pleased and then does free advertising for the company. Popular items include T-shirts and coffee mugs with prints. This way, the customer is reminded of the business every morning with their first coffee.
Business prints are documents used in a business context. These include various types of printed materials, such as:
1. Business Cards: For personal introduction and networking.
2. Letterhead: For official correspondence.
3. Invoices: For billing services or goods.
4. Offers: To present services or products to customers.
5. Contracts: For legal agreements between parties.
6. Brochures: For marketing and information purposes.
7. Flyers: To advertise events or products.
These printed materials contribute to the professionalism and brand identity of a company.
A well-thought-out concept can present complex information in a clear and appealing way.
I hope I could bring you closer to the work of a media designer with a focus on "Concept & Visualization" using the example shown above. If you have questions, don't hesitate to send me an email.
